Derry rock outfit Crave return to the Braid Arts Centre, after their successful Arisen Nation debut in January 2010, locked and loaded with new material from their recent album. Receiving 9/10 from Cross Rhythms, music reviewer Ewan Jones comment " 'The Front Line' does not disappoint - storming guitars, solid bass-lines, anthemic choruses, wailing solos and stabbing snares? Check. The band's sound is recognisably their own so comparisons to Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters purely aim to help the uninitiated get an idea of what to expect here ".
Midlands band NlighteN continues to impress with their superb sonic blend of worshipful lyrics and indie music. Reviewing the band's Creation Fest '09 appearance, Cross Rhythms' Tony Cummings stated "...with frontman Tim Barton sat at the keys singing his compositions in a clear, tuneful voice, the band make crisp, tightly executed, accompaniments, the effect was impressive... Suddenly the gradually-growing-in-number spectators were touching the transcedent... By the close the crowd were clapping enthusiastically. NlighteN had come to minister. And that they unquestionably did ".
